There is no process model that is valid for all processes. All processes are based on the Metamodel but need to be tailored to fit certain requirements.
**Ex. **The metamodel for a car stays the same but there can be multiple tailored processes. The tailored processes for a gas, electric, and diesel car will be different. Rather than including all of the different safety processes for each and having to pick and choose which ones need to be completed, a tailored process will only give what is relevant to a specific process.
