This page describes the limitations of the Stages BIRT Designer compared to the Standard BIRT Designer.

Drill Down

Drill Down functionality from BIRT through seperate reports is not supported by Stages.

Notice: The problem is that the Report design files (*.rptdesign) are stored in the process database and there is no URL to address them.

Report Parameter Formats

Report Parameter formats are not supported.

Report Libraries

Report Libraries are not supported.

Cascading Report Parameter (Combo Boxes)

Cascading report parameters are not supported in combination with combo boxes.

Hyperlinks in Data Elements

Hyperlinks on data elements are not supported.

Note: A hyperlink can also be generated by a dynamic text element. The content type must be set to HTL and a real href HTML element must be formatted.
