Link to a Local Anchor
- Click the Link button on the toolbar. The Link dialog window will appear.
- Select the Contents tab and select an anchor of the text.
- Change the hyperlink name in the Name text field.
- Click OK and a hyperlink with the link name and anchor position will be inserted into the text.
Link to Internal Targets
- Click the Link button on the toolbar. The Link dialog window will appear.
- Select the Internal Link tab.
- Select a Stages element:
- Select a Stages element in the current workspace by selecting an item on the left tree.
- Change the workspace by clicking the … button and selecting a workspace and a Stages element.
- Change the hyperlink name in the Name text field.
- Click OK and a hyperlink with the link name will be inserted into the text.
Link to External Targets
- Click the Link button on the toolbar. The Link dialog window will appear.
- Select the External Link tab.
- Enter a URL in the URL text field.
- Change the hyperlink name in the Name text field.
- Click OK and a hyperlink will be inserted into the text.
Remove Link
- Click on the link. The Unlink button on the toolbar will be activated.
- Click the Unlink button on the toolbar. The link is removed from the description.
Remove Link Using Key Strokes
- Navigate the text cursor to the end of the link.
- Press the backspace key on your keyboard. The link is removed from the description.
Warning: Removing the link using the backspace key only works with Internal Explorer. Firefox and Chrome will shorten the link text.
