Stages AI Acknowledgements

In order to use the AI features or the Stages Assistant, every user must accept the following acknowledgements:

“This feature uses an artificial intelligence language model. UL Solutions is not responsible for the content it produces, which may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. This feature is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. You are responsible for independently verifying the information that you obtain through this feature.”

Accept / Decline Behavior

  • The acknowledgements display to each user when they first access one of the AI features or the Stages Assistant
  • Accepting the acknowledgement once applies to all AI features and the Stages Assistant
  • When declined the AI features & the Stages Assistant are not available anymore. The acknowledgement can then be accepted later in the profile settings > Acknowledgements
  • The acceptance date can be viewed in the profile settings. The acceptance is final and cannot be reversed.

Custom Acknowledgements

You can optionally add a custom policy to the Acknowledgements window by configuring the following properties in the local.properties file:

  • ai.general.legal.custom.header - Heading
  • ai.general.legal.custom.text - Text
  • ai.general.legal.custom.link.href - URL including protocol
  • ai.general.legal.custom.link.name - Link text (if not configured, the URL is displayed directly)

All of these properties are optional. You could choose to include only a heading and text, or only a link, or any other combination.

The custom policy is shown directly beneath the general acknowledgements, as shown in the example below.
