Stages Managed Service

The best option is to use Stages as a Managed Service. It removes any overhead for administration or troubleshooting and you can fully focus on generating business outcomes.

Setup of Single Sign On

For best user experience, the Stages Managed Service should be integrated with your existing Single Sign On (SSO) system, e.g. Microsoft AD/Azure, Okta, or other authentication systems using SAML.

To allow us to set up SSO, please provide

  • SAML IdP metadata
  • SAML Response Attribute identifiers for name (either as one or two attributes) and email address of a user

In return, we will provide the SAML SP metadata for configuration of your SAML IdP.

You can control on your IdP if you would like all users to be able to access Stages by default or if you want to limit default access to Stages, e.g. via an Active Directory group. Either way, the access control for your users is fully in your hands.

It is possible to control assignment to different Stages user roles and license types (e.g. modeler vs end user) also through the SAML IdP, but typically this is done directly in Stages.

Connections to internal systems

The Stages Managed Service can be configured to access your data repositories, e.g. Sharepoint or SVN, or feedback systems like Jira. Please contact us how to best set up the connection to those systems.
